While many suppliers to the mining and other associated industries have been tightening their belts over the past 2 years, RCT has demonstrated confidence in their offering and its relevance to the current market with a 100% growth of its Melbourne team.

Provider of smart technology solutions for both the mining and industrial sectors in the region," said Peter George, Account Manager at RCT's Melbourne Branch. "We currently provide technical services and support to a range of industrial and mining customers, however our aim is to grow our customer base significantly with our recently enhanced team."

Grahame Don has joined Peter George as Account Manager focused on the Industrial Sector. Grahame has a Materials Handling background with over 14 years of experience in Major Account, Fleet Management and Parts Sales roles in the Materials Handling area. Grahame dealt with RCT as a solution provider during much of this period and has seen first-hand the benefits that RCT's products deliver.

The present economic climate and competitive market provides a unique opportunity for RCT to assist customers as their technology provides a positive contribution to their 'bottom line'. "This, together with exceptional Customer Service and Technical backup is what impressed me initially through my dealings as an RCT customer, and certainly contributed to the decision to take up the position," said Grahame.

In a similar role but with a focus on the Mining Industry, RCT has engaged Geoff Steele who has considerable experience in the sale of both underground and surface fleets to a range of miners and mining contractors. Having developed the equipment mine specs for a previous OEM and ensuring it met the end user requirements and specifications during sales, assembly and commissioning, Geoff is well placed to provide a valuable contribution to the Mining Sales Team.

"RCT's product has always been held in high regard by the Earthmoving Industry," said Geoff on his reasons for joining the Company, "it is considered as the 'first choice add-on' for many OEM equipment suppliers, so to now be a part of the RCT team and to assist both the OEM and end users, is a great opportunity for me."

The expansion of the Melbourne branch will assist RCT in further engaging with the market in both the Industrial and Mining Sectors.

"It is this engagement with industry," commented Melbourne based Product Manager Matt Ingram, "that is critical to our accurate identification of applications that will further increase efficiency, productivity and safety on site. We are most successful when we work closely with our customers."

RCT is a premium provider of relevant technology to increase safety and productivity for the Mining and Industrial Sectors.
