We currently have an opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician, based at PT. Freeport Indonesia, initially on 12-month contract with the possibility of further extensions. This role is on a FIFO roster.

Our Field Service Technicians are the face of RCT and are known for delivering quality technical expertise, installation, commissioning, preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs to a high level of detail across a wide range of products, services and machines. RCT's products are built to be installed and operated in global mining environments.

  • This role will be required to provide consultation on RCT technology integration into the existing mine system while delivering product knowledge, training and assisting with any breakdown and repairs of RCT systems.
  • Have or able to obtain a valid Passport.
  • Medically fit and able to pass regular drug and alcohol testing.
  • Computer literacy in Microsoft suite.

  • Confidence in their abilities and can act as a diplomatic advocate for RCT.
  • High quality workmanship and work history.
  • Underground mobile machine experience
  • IT Network experience preferred
  • Strong customer focus with ability to represent RCT.
  • Able to work with minimum supervision with a disciplined approach to job responsibilities.
  • Honest, trustworthy and reliable.
