We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Product Management to lead our product organisation. This role is responsible for defining product vision, driving roadmap execution, and ensuring alignment with overall business objectives. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership, market insight, and executional excellence to deliver impactful products and drive growth. This position will report to the General Manager.
The key focus of this role includes but will not be limited to:
- Establishing and communicating the long-term product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and market opportunities
- Driving prioritisation of initiatives and resources to maximise product impact and commercial value.
- Lead, hire, and mentor a high-performing team of product managers, fostering career growth, accountability, and a culture of innovation
- Align engineering, marketing, sales, and operations teams to ensure successful product execution and go-to-market strategies.
- Act as a bridge between executive leadership and functional teams to drive alignment and decision-making.
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle—from ideation to launch—covering feature prioritisation, pricing strategies, user testing, and continuous improvement.
- Provide recommendations for product rationalisation, adjustments to economic order quantities and minimum stock levels, and product changes based on analysis and customer feedback.
- Analyse market trends, customer feedback, and competitive landscapes to inform product decisions and maintain strong product-market fit.
- Identify opportunities for product innovation, enhancement, and revenue growth.
To be considered for this role, you will require the following:
- A bachelor's degree in business, Engineering, or Computer Science /Trade background (desirable)
- Experience in mining automation or industrial technology industries
- Minimum 8 years of experience in product management, with 5+ years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of delivering successful products and driving business growth
- Strong interpersonal skills to act as a product evangelist, communicating with stakeholders and external customers.
- Proficiency in using data to track performance, identify issues, and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work closely with engineering teams to evaluate technical feasibility.
- Understanding of business dynamics, including budgets, pricing strategies, and ROI.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development skills
