The 8286 park brake lockout has been designed to electrically lock the park switch circuit in the applied position.
The lockout can be used in a variety of applications where there is a requirement to have the park brake locked in the applied or ON position.
A variety of different functionalities may be achieved from this controller dependant on how it is electrically connected.
When energised the 8286 will bypass the park brake switch and electrically apply the park brake (turn the park brake on).
For this RCT highly recommends connecting the 8286 in such a way as to not allow the 8286 to become active unless the park brake is already applied.
