RCT’s Smart Technology on display at IMARC

News

The annual International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) is fast approaching and RCT is excited to take part in Australia’s largest mining event to be held at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre from October 29 to November 1.

This year’s event is expected to attract more than 6000 attendees from all over the world and RCT is looking forward to showcasing its latest Automation Station at SICK’s stand: B83.

The new station is ergonomic in design and has more features than ever before to ensure operator comfort and usability.

Visitors to the stand will be able to gain a greater insight into how RCT’s Guidance Automation works and see for themselves the technology in action at different mine sites around the world.

RCT utilises SICK Sensor Intelligence for its Autonomous solutions and is looking forward to having a presence at their stand this year.

“We look forward to meeting with attendees and getting the chance to showcase our Smart Technology at an event known to attract

global mining leaders,” said RCT’s Executive Director and CEO, Brett White.

The Elko Mining Expo is one of the oldest and most respected mining expos held in the US and RCT was proud to take part for the third year in a row.

This expo came onto RCT’s radar prior to the opening of the company’s US branch, and it has proven to be the ideal event for the company to have a presence at for numerous reasons.

“The team sees the event as a great opportunity to support the Elko community and to network with existing and potential clients in the area,” said RCT’s USA Account Manager for the West Coast, Ben Gunderson.

About 8,000 people attended this year’s event from near and far which resulted in a busy few days for the team.

“RCT’s booth piqued a lot of interest from passers-by throughout the two-day event. I believe it is because our offering is extensive and our automation range is versatile,” said Gunderson.

“It was a great opportunity to further familiarise visitors with RCT and showcase our entire range of solutions on offer.

The main attraction was of course our automation solutions; however, our EarthTrack® information systems were also sought after.”

“It was my first expo representing RCT, and I look forward to many more to come,” he added.

Thousands of people flocked to Timmins for the Canadian Mining Expo (CME) – The Big Event held at the McIntyre Community Building last week where RCT was exhibiting for the second year in a row.

RCT was one of more than 400 exhibitors to partake in the annual event, and it was a busy few days for the team.

“We always enjoy partaking in this event as there is a real sense of community,” said RCT’s Regional Manager for North America, Andrew Sells.

RCT’s Canada branch has been in operation for 18 months and it’s the second time the company has taken part in this well-known event.

“There was a lot of interest from visitors about our Automation range. People really like that our solutions are so versatile and can be installed on any machine, regardless or make or model,” added Sells.

RCT will again participate at the upcoming Elko Mining Expo held in Nevada from June 7-8.

This well-respected event is one of the oldest mining expos held in the United States and RCT is proud to take part to showcase its productivity and profit-boosting mobile mining fleet solutions to the American market.

RCT’s USA Account Manager for the West Coast, Ben Gunderson and Service Manager, Thomas Laverty will be representing the company at booth 707.

“This will be the third time RCT has exhibited at Elko, and we believe it’s an important show to take part in,” said Mr Gunderson.

“It’s an exciting time for mining in the Nevada area and it’s a great opportunity to meet with key players in the industry,” he added.

RCT has more than 45 years of experience in the mining industry with a range of proven solutions spanning five sub-brands.

RCT is excited to be partaking in the upcoming CIM 2018 held at the Vancouver Convention Centre from May 6- 8.

This is the third time RCT has exhibited at this popular event which is expected to draw crowds in excess of 5,000 industry professionals and decision-makers.

North America Regional Manager, Andrew Sells said CIM 2018 was an important expo for RCT to be present at given that the company has been active in the region for some time.

“It’s the first time we are able to showcase the support and capabilities of our branch, based in Ontario,” said Mr Sells.

“In addition to supplying and installing profit-boosting solutions, we provide the training and the technical support to ensure our clients get the most out of their mobile mining machines.”

Visitors to the booth will also be able to experience RCT's ControlMaster® Guidance Automation solution for themselves, with the simulator available for attendees to try.

“CIM 2018 will help to further familiarise RCT with the market and give people a better understanding of our full range of

solutions available over our five sub-brands, but in particular our Automation solutions that can be installed on any machine, regardless of make or model.”

“It’s what sets us apart from our competition,” added Mr Sells.

RCT will be at booth 1545.

RCT will be joining channel partner, Fasser at this year’s Expomin held in Santiago, Chile.

The expo, well-known for attracting key decision makers from the mining industry in Latin America and other regions is expected to draw a crowd of about 70,000.

It is the second time RCT has exhibited with Fasser and we are looking forward to engaging with our partner and our customer base.

With the commodity prices picking up, the boom is on once again in Chile, making it an even more important event for RCT.

“Expomin provides us with the chance to showcase our Muirhead® Protection systems that are designed to save client’s money but reducing fuel and machine wear and tear,” said RCT’s North America Regional Manager, Andrew Sells.

“It’s a great opportunity to work with our technical partner and assist with engaging and educating our customer base in Chile,” he added.

RCT’s solutions range is extensive; however, the Muirhead® range directly addresses the client’s needs in the area.

Expomin 2018 promises to be a great show and RCT is excited to be taking part with Fasser.

Held at the Espacio Riesco, Santiago, Chile from April 23-27. RCT and Fasser will be at booth 2-G78.

Expomin will be taking place on April 23 – 27 in Santiago, Chile and RCT is excited to be taking part with South American partner Fasser.

The biennial event is set to attract more than 70,000 key decision makers from the mining industry from 36 different countries from around the world.

The technology-focused expo is expected to attract a diverse range of technology, equipment, machinery, services and suppliers from the national and Latin America mining industry.
