About the role:
Reporting to the Production Manager, you'll be responsible for assembling electronic products, wiring harnesses, and sub-assemblies while ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. Working from production drawings and work instructions, you'll play a key role in delivering innovative technology to our customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Assemble electronic components, products, and sub-assemblies to specification
- Read and interpret work orders, production drawings, and assembly instructions
- Use hand and power tools to crimp, solder, rivet, bolt, screw, and secure components
- Assemble and install electronic components, wiring, connectors, and harnesses
- Manufacture wiring looms and cable harnesses, including terminating connectors
- Complete assembly processes including bonding, encapsulating, curing, cleaning, and finishing
- Install completed assemblies into enclosures and fit associated hardware
- Perform quality checks and adjustments to meet electrical and dimensional requirements
- Safely perform manual handling tasks and maintain a clean, organised workspace
- Support the Production team with other duties as required
About you:
- Experience in electronic, electrical, mechanical, or manufacturing assembly
- Confidence using hand and power tools
- Soldering and wiring experience (highly regarded)
- The ability to read assembly drawings or work instructions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
- A strong focus on workplace safety
- The physical capability to safely perform manual handling and lifting throughout the day
