The PowerLight™ LED Pilot Lights have been specifically designed to operate in the harshest conditions. They are compact in design and are highly resistant to vibration, dust and moisture. Many models incorporate special load circuitry to reduce false illumination caused by moisture being present across the switching circuit. This load circuit can also be used for alternator excitation.

Their reliability helps to eliminate costly downtime caused by the regular replacement of standard incandescent globes, often used as indicators. LED pilot lights are far more tolerant to changes in voltage and voltage spikes.

TYPE OF LED PILOT LIGHT

• RCT’s LED pilot lights are made in various types for different purposes/applications. Below is a simple guide to enable you to order the right LED pilot light for your specific application.
• Colours: RCT manufactures LED pilot lights in red, green, yellow, blue, orange and tri-colour (green/red/yellow).
• Voltage: Most types of RCT’s LED pilot lights are available in either 12VDC, 24VDC, 60VDC or multi voltage.
• Failsafe Indication: Applications where a connection needs to be monitored for continuity or electrical connection may use the “Failsafe” type LED pilot lights. These function as per a normal LED pilot light when connected to both positive and negative. However, they have an additional wire (available in either positive sense or negative sense types), this wire when connected to the sense wire will turn the pilot light OFF. If the sense wire is disconnected from its source for any reason the pilot light will illuminate.
