The Muirhead® Forklift Engine Protection system offers engine protection for forklift machines by monitoring critical engine functions such as oil pressure, coolant level and coolant temperature. The system pre-warns the operator of critical operating conditions prior to the onset of engine failure. This allows the operator to take action to reduce premature engine failure, damage and costly repairs to the forklift equipment.
The system provides both an audible and visual warning and incorporates additional outputs for return to idle or shutdown modes.
