Operator safety is paramount in any operation and those that neglect to wear a seatbelt in the driver’s seat are a hazard to themselves and the environment they are working in.
As a result RCT has developed the Muirhead Sequential Seatbelt Controller (SSBC) which ensures vehicles cannot be operated until the seatbelt has been securely fastened.
The SSBC is one of the most cost effective seat belt interlock systems available on the market today.
It is programmed to assist operators in following the correct sequence when applying their seatbelt; preventing the vehicle from starting or immobilising it if the correct sequence is not followed.
A visual warning alerts the operator five seconds before immobilisation.
The kits are designed to suit many light vehicles and can also be customised for plug and play installation for specific applications.
Kits are supplied in low voltage 10 - 30 volts. An audible alarm and seatbelt and buckle with an internal switch may be supplied separately if required.
