Product Skills Training – Guidance

SKILLS TRAINING FOR SAFE OPERATION, CORRECT MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR PROCEDURES
Product Skills Training – Guidance

RCT provides a range of Industry standard certified training courses designed to prepare customers on the safe and productive use and maintenance of its products.

LEVEL 1 GUIDANCE TRAINING (OPERATOR)

This course is designed for operators who will be using the Control Master® Guidance system in the mining or related industries. This level 1 training is divided into theory and ‘hands on’ practical sessions. The theory sessions are normally conducted in a relaxed environment using dedicated training manuals along with animated RCT PowerPoint® presentations.

The practical involves ‘hands on’ sessions remotely operating the machine using Guidance control under the watchful eye of our training personnel. Included in the practical sessions are all the required pre-start and ongoing checks to be conducted during normal operations.

LEVEL 2 GUIDANCE TRAINING (MAINTENANCE)

This course is intended for maintenance personnel who are required to carry out testing, preventive maintenance and routine repairs on the Control Master® Guidance system and again encompasses both theory and practical sessions. The theory sessions utilise RCT’s dedicated training manuals along with animated RCT PowerPoint® presentations.

A Guidance fitted machine would ideally be available for the practical component in order for the trainees to gain valuable experience in the set-up, testing and maintenance of the additional equipment required for Guidance operations.

LEVEL 3 ADVANCED GUIDANCE TRAINING (MAINTENANCE)

This advanced level of training is intended for selected maintenance staff who possess the required computer skills in addition to those skills required for Level 2 training. The trainees will have completed both Level 1 (operator) and Level 2 (maintenance) Guidance courses prior to undertaking this advanced level course. This course will provide the participants with the required skills to be able to setup and calibrate the Guidance system when major critical components have been replaced due to being damaged etc. Applicants will use a Laptop or similar computer to download fault logs and to interrogate the Guidance control unit.

It is essential that a Guidance fitted machine is made available for the training as it involves hands on calibration of the Guidance System using proprietary software designed for the purpose.

Certificates from RCT will be issued upon successful completion of the training session undertaken.
