The ControlMaster® Automation systems have been designed to reduce impact damage to the machine while increasing the general tramming speed of the machine to improve overall operational efficiency. The operator directs the machine forward or backward. Timely input left or right directs the machine into a drive junction.

The steering, braking and speed of the machine are automatically controlled through the joystick position, minimum width of the drive and the look-ahead distance. The system can be switched on or off from the joystick control unit and the digital display will tell the operator whether the system is on or off. Automation will allow second or higher gears to be selected to improve the speed of tramming cycles depending on the length of the drive.

ControlMaster® Automation will assist in avoiding the walls and major obstacles whilst keeping the loader in the optimal tramming path.

The system requires minimal upgrade for existing ControlMaster® Teleremote customers and with no additional communications setup costs, the system is a cost-effective semi-automated solution for mining customers.
