The AusProTec™ Electronic Ratchet Relay is a specialised electronic changeover relay. Developed to fill a niche in the market place. This solution is suitable for a multitude of applications, for example, it can be used when a relay’s contacts are required to be in the same state when power is reapplied and when a relay is required to toggle/ratchet between two functions using a single input.
It is the same state feature that makes this relay a unique product in the market place. The relay is multi voltage, from 12 to 24 VDC. The inbuilt LED indicates the relay’s switched status.
The AusProTec™ Electronic Ratchet Relay is designed to turn on and off with a single negative pulse. More importantly, the switched position of the relay when power is disconnected is the same as when power is reapplied. The relay will retain the switched position with the aid of a 99 year memory.
