The Muirhead Soft Shift Transmission Controller is designed to regulate the engine speed (RPM) during each gear change, minimising the high torque load spike through the machines drive train – a process which dramatically increases drive train component wear, resulting in premature component failure.
The Muirhead Soft Shift Transmission Controller systems are available for pneumatic, hydraulic and electronic throttle systems.
The system is suitable for the following CAT Off Highway Trucks models: 69C, 769, 777, 776, 773, 784, 785 & 789 B & D, with electric shift and air throttles.
