The durable, one-piece plastic housing has stainless steel springs for contact retention, which creates the “contact force” that delivers an extremely low resistance to enable greater electrical efficiency. In addition, contacts are silver-plated to minimise electrical resistance while offering supreme durability and reliability.
The connector is conveniently genderless (when flipped 180 degrees, they will mate to each other) which reduces the cost of materials and provides greater economies of scale. The Anderson Connector range varies in size from SB50 to SB350 to cater to different needs.
