The Muirhead Pre-start Warning timers are designed to notify personnel within the vicinity of a machine that the engine is about to start. The system interfaces into the machine’s starter circuit to provide a timed interlock; preventing the engine from immediately cranking when the ignition key is turned to the start position.
The system can be set to sound the machine’s horn, alarm or any other type of electronic warning device or indicator.
The Muirhead Pre-start Warning timers are available with a variety of alarm configurations or can be custom-built to suit customer’s needs.
The latest version of the Muirhead Pre-start Warning timer retains the simple, on machine time period adjustment and the ability for advanced setup and configuration on a PC through the Muirhead Programmable Controller Utility software package (PDU).
