These high level courses are only available to select overseas company service personnel and to local RCT employees. For local service personnel the qualification is only valid while they are an RCT employee.
Note: Companies within Australia are recommended to return and/or contact their closest RCT office to have their Control Master® equipment tested and repaired.
OVERVIEW
Level four and level five are interrelated courses. Technicians undertaking level four training must have suitable electrical or electronic qualifications and experience in order to undertake the course. Technicians undertaking level four training must also complete the level 5 course in order to graduate from the course.
LEVEL 4 - INTERNAL PROGRAMMING/TESTING PROCEDURES
Level four trains service technicians how to test the internal circuit components of the remote control systems for faults. The course covers every aspect of the remote control systems internal operations. The course is a pre-requisite to allow the service technician to successfully perform an internal remote hardware service or repair.

LEVEL 5 - INTERNAL SERVICING PROCEDURES
Level five trains service technicians how to service or repair the internal hardware of the remote control systems using the transmitter and receiver service kits. The course illustrates how to correctly remove and replace the internal circuit panels, wiring looms and socket components. Remote control system testing is also performed to ensure the remote controls are working correctly on completion of the service.

Each training course is delivered using oral and written presentations. All participants are assessed using theoretical and practical exams. All courses with the exception of levels four and five are conducted on site by RCT's nationally accredited Training officers.
