The Muirhead® Speed Alert kit is designed to assist operators to maintain the correct speed whilst operating machinery. It can be simply interfaced to the machine and programmed to suit all applications. It has two warning outputs. First stage warning is to indicate to the operator that he is approaching the safe operating speed and the second stage warning indicates over speed. Each output can activate alarms or LED's.
The custom programming is simple and can be done prior to delivery or on the installation. Once the unit is programmed the settings are saved. The unit will only require reprogramming if a change in setting is required. The system eliminates the need to lockout gears to try and reduce the overall speed of the vehicle.
