RCT deemed Expomin 2018 a great success after a busy five days exhibiting at the largest mining fair in Latin America.
The team, joined channel partner Fasser at the biennial event which attracted about 70,000 visitors throughout the five day event.
Fasser is RCT’s South American distributor for RCT’s auto-electrical and protection systems and fleet management solutions to assist customers to increase profit by optimising the performance of their existing fleets.
“While there was a lot of interest in these solutions, there were numerous enquiries for RCT’s ControlMaster® Guidance automation solutions to help increase productivity and profitability on site,” said RCT’s North America Regional Manager, Andrew Sells who partook in the event.
“A lot of the mining companies in Peru and Chile are looking to further increase copper production, despite already accounting for 40 per cent of the world’s output of the metal currently so our range of automation solutions were of great interest,” he said
Expomin was not only a great opportunity to further showcase RCT’s solutions to the South American market, it was also a great way to introduce the company’s newest BDM for the region, Carolina Toro.
“With more than 12 years of experience in the mining industry and a passion for innovation and automation, Carolina has proven to be a real asset to the team already!” said, Mr Sells.Expomin has been described as one of the world’s most important expos and Mr Sells said he’d have to agree!
“It is by far one of the best expos I’ve been apart of to date,” he said.
