RCT Powered by Epiroc is a global leader in smart technology, automation and control solutions for mobile mining and industrial equipment. We’re looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team and provide trusted, practical HR support across the business.
Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, you’ll partner closely with leaders and employees across the full employee lifecycle, providing commercially focused HR advice and helping build a high-performing, engaged and inclusive workplace.
About the role:
- As HR Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in supporting our people and business objectives. Your responsibilities will include:
- Partnering with managers and leaders on HR advice, employee relations and people matters
- Coordinating end-to-end recruitment, including workforce planning and manning requirements, and partnering with the RCOE and key stakeholders to deliver timely, effective and high-quality recruitment outcomes
- Writing, reviewing and maintaining position descriptions, ensuring roles are clearly defined and aligned with business requirements
- Supporting onboarding and offboarding processes to deliver positive employee experience
- Supporting performance management, investigations, grievances and disciplinary processes
- Managing employment contracts, role changes and employment conditions
- Supporting change management, employee engagement and continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintaining accurate HR systems, employee records, reporting and HR KPIs
- Supporting compensation, benefits, payroll and employment compliance
- Coordinating training, apprenticeship and graduate programs
- Supporting WHS, workers’ compensation and injury management processes
- Contributing to the development and review of HR policies, procedures, audits and business projects
- Providing insights and recommendations to leaders using HR data, reporting and people metrics
- Supporting the delivery of people initiatives and projects aligned with RCT’s business strategy and organisational goals
About you:
You’ll be an experienced HR professional who enjoys building strong relationships, solving problems and providing practical people solutions.
You’ll bring:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline
- Preferably 4+ years’ experience in an HR Generalist or HR Business Partner role
- Strong experience across employee relations, performance management and recruitment
Sound knowledge of Australian employment legislation, HR processes and compliance
- Demonstrated experience providing trusted HR advice and coaching to managers and leaders
- Strong HR systems, reporting and people data management skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
- A high level of integrity, confidentiality and attention to detail
- A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced, changing environment
