RCT staff are thrilled with the positive experiences gained at the recent MineX expo in Mount Isa which saw significant community participation and interest from regional mining industry figures.
Staff from RCT’s Mount Isa and Brisbane Branches exhibited the ControlMaster® Automation Centre from May 30 to June 1 and spoke with mining industry figures, government representatives and general public about the benefits of automation.
RCT Account Manager Wayne Carrington said roughly 100 people attended the stand over the three-day event.
“Most of the attendees had previous experience of some form of teleremote and other autonomous systems,” he said.
“People were extremely complimentary about the high quality of the imagery presented on the Automation Centre.”
Mr Carrington said most of the enquiries related to underground mining operations.
“The event was an excellent opportunity to meet with members of the broader community and highlight that through our local branch RCT has been a member of the Mt Isa community for many years,” he said.
Autonomous solutions specialist RCT will present its latest technological offering to attendees at the MineX expo in Mount Isa, Queensland next week.
RCT is exhibiting its ControlMaster® Automation Centre featuring a purpose built simulator demonstrating the company’s Multiple Machine Control function active at a surface mine site.
Staff from RCT’s Mount Isa branch will be present to help expo attendees utilise the chair and field questions regarding the company’s range of automation, protection, fleet management systems and electrical parts.
RCT East Coast Branch Manager Jack Gee said the Mount Isa staff had a wealth of expertise to share with mining industry figures from the North West Minerals Province.
“MineX will provide an invaluable opportunity to network with industry professionals who have all come together under one roof at the same time,” he said.
“Any attendees who come past our stall will have the opportunity to try the Automation Centre, which is currently active at multiple mine sites around the world.”
RCT’s technology will be on display at stall 49-50 from May 31 to June 1 at Buchanan Park in Mount Isa.
