It was a busy and fruitful few days for the team at this year’s CIM Expo held in Vancouver, BC from May 6-8.
Known as Canada’s premier mining trade show it certainly did deliver with RCT’s Regional Manager for North America, Andrew Sells stating it was “the best CIM to date.”
RCT was one of about 450 exhibitors that were visited by a crowd of 5,000 industry professionals, experts, and decision-makers. RCT’s VP of Business Development for Canada, Vern Deveau and Andrew enjoyed meeting with everyone.
“We had some great feedback from visitors across the duration of the expo and a lot of interest in RCT’s Automation and Remote Control range,” said Mr Sells.
“Everyone loved the fact that RCT can adapt its solutions to any make, model or brand of mobile mining equipment and we do not affiliate ourselves to one particular Original Equipment Manufacturer.”
“This is always great to hear as this is what makes RCT stand out from the crowd. That and we are able to provide the support needed to our clients on a local level from our Canadian branch.”
Mr Sells said there was a great buzz across the expo in general too.
“The Canadian Mining market is picking up and everyone is very excited about it.”
“It was a fantastic expo all round and it was great that RCT was a part of it,” said Mr Sells.
